A Second Amendment Freedom Rally in CHICAGO? Damn right!

Socialist Chicago is one of the most heavily regulated and restrictive American cities when it comes to the Second Amendment rights, having imposed a total gun ban on handguns since 1982.

Is the gun ban working?
Absolutely. The criminals are feeling safer than ever knowing their victims are disarmed; violent crimes like rape, house break-ins when the owners are at home, armed robberies and murders execution-style have skyrocketed since the gun ban was passed by Barak Obama's political mentors.

In the five years after the ban took effect in 1976, the murder rate rose to 35 per 100,000 people from 27. In fact, in the three decades since the ban took effect, the annual murder rate has only once fallen below what it was in 1976. In 2002 the murder rate hit 46 per 100,000 people.

Here are more numbers:

Murder: 2.7 times national average
598
Forcible Rape: data not available
0
Robbery: 2.73 times national average 17,302
Aggravated Assault: 1.88 times national average 19,784
Burglary: 1.1 times national average 25,064
Larceny or Theft: 1.13 times national average 96,779
Car Theft: 1.31 times national average 22,779
All Violent Crime: 2.18 times national average 37.684

So if you live anywhere near Chicago or in the belly of the Marxist Metropolis itself, I recommend you to move your arse on July 11th and join the rally - even if you are not a gun owner.
It's not only about the right to keep and bear arms, it is also about the rest of the civil liberties they are trying to take from you. And it is also about letting the Democreeps who run this once great city that Americans have had enough of their failed promises "you give up your liberties and we'll keep you safe".

I deeply love Chicago. It is the city where I first set foot in America and I will never forget the profound impression of amazement and magic I had when I got out from the train that carried me from O'Hare airport to Downtown. To me, Chicago is more America than any other American city will ever be.
Please don't let the elitist socialist bastards who run it to turn Chicago in another Detroit.
