American (Phony) Hunter and Shooters Association Endorses Sotomayor For SCOTUS

Washington, D.C. - Ray Schoenke, the President of the American Hunters and Shooters Association (AHSA), expressed support for Judge Sonia Sotomayor as Supreme Court Nominee. Schoenke made the endorsement in a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Patrick Leahy (D-VT).

After sending the letter, Schoenke stated, “As with most issues involving the Second Amendment, concerns about Sotomayor are being stoked by groups who benefit financially from the politics of fear.

Really? And what kind of group are you talking about when you say "benefiting from the politics of fear" Mr. Schoenke?
You mean like the group you donated $5,000?
What was the name of that organization...wait don't tell me, let me see if I can remember. Wasn't Handgun Control, Inc, known these days by the name of Brady Campaign, by any chance?

In my old country there is a saying, Mr Schoenke: lies have very short legs but they catch up with you really fast

The Gangster Government

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) speaking on the House floor:

Now weve moved into the realm of gangster government. We have gangster government when the Federal Government has set up a new cartel and private businesses now have to go begging with their hand out to their local hopefully well politically connected Congressman or their Senator so they can buy a peace offering for that local business. Is that the kind of country we are going to have in the future?

Et Tu Brutus?

Wow! Bill Maher??? The Bill Maher who for eight years ripped Bush to pieces and during the 2008 Presidential campaign mercilessly mocked McCain and shamelessly supported Obama?
That Maher???

You know Obama has a problem when even the most wacko liberals like Maher are starting to get it.

Maher: Barack Obama obsessed with being on TV

Self-described libertarian pundit Bill Maher ripped Barack Obama during a lengthy monologue on his HBO program Friday night, accusing the president of being obsessed with appearing on TV and failing to come through on pre-election promises.

"This is not what I voted for," Maher said. “I don’t want my president to be a TV star.”

Maher criticized Obama's constant television coverage ("I get it: you love being on TV") and said the president should focus on fixing the nation's problems instead.

"You don't have to be on television every minute of every day -- you're the president, not a rerun of 'Law & Order,'" Maher said. “TV stars are too worried bout being popular and too concerned about being renewed."Maher continued: "You're skinny and in a hurry and in love with a nice lady -- but so is Lindsay Lohan. And just like Lindsay, we see your name in the paper a lot but we're kind of wondering when you’re actually going to do something.”

Maher added that Obama's presidential rival John McCain was right to say Obama acted like a celebrity and, amazingly for Maher, the comedian suggested Obama needs to act more like his predecessor.

“I never thought I’d say this: What [Obama] needs in his personality is a little George Bush.”

The "O" Files

Life is full of mysteries. This one looks like one of those paranormal mysteries only Mulder and Scully can resolve.

To paraphrase Winston Churchill, the life of our president is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.

Quote:
Where Have All His Records Gone?

Obama has lived for half a century without leaving any footprints - none. Why would, and how could, that be?

Here is the tip of the iceberg:

The Noelani Elementary School Kindergarten records are oddly missing from the the State of Hawaii Department of Education.

Confirmed by Beckwith - Reliable source*.

“I acquired the picture below from Winifred (Wakai) Otaguro, who was in Ms. Sakai’s kindergarten class at Noelani Elementary School in 1967. Otaguro’s mother, Betty Wakai, had written the names of most of the kids in the class on the back of the picture. Her writing identifies the first little boy in the third row as “Barry Obama.” Obama’s sister Maya Soetoro-Ng confirms that the boy is Obama, however, the Department of Education has been unable to find his records.”

*Kelli Abe Trifonovitch, writing in Hawaii Business:

Being-Local-Barry-and-Bryan

http://www.hawaiibusiness.com/Hawaii...rry-and-Bryan/

This is an important feature because K-records for original school entry would have contained the following:

1. His REAL Birth Certificate.

2. An application with the following:

1) His Legal name.
2) Parents or Legal Guardians’ names.
3) Date of Birth
4) Place of Birth
5) Vaccination Records (revealing a timeline to the place and DOB.)

It also is important for two reasons:

1) The Dept.of Education does not “lose” the records of one particular student. (So, ... Who paid whom what sum to make this record disappear?)

2) There would have been NO shameful low-test scores, NO embarassing Equal Opportunity advancements, and NO trails of fraudulent funding to hide which could possibly ‘excuse’ the quashing of public school Kindergarten entry records. For the rest of his life he attended very expensive private schools and has had his records legally sealed to deny the public, his true life story.

This is different. Hawaii should be able to verify he attended their school since he is featured in class photographs. State and federal tax dollars paid for his initial year of education. Why is there no documentation?

This is the ‘tip of the iceberg’ of an intentionally erased life of a fraudulent conman and it reeks of complicity by officials within the State of Hawaii’s Dept. of Health & Dept. of Education

Obama's Lost Twin Brother Surfaces in Russia ?

From the Romanian cable news channel Antena 1 / Observator , here is a shocking video report about Russia's Czar Vladimir Putin and the way he is dealing with the owner of a private company who committed the imprudence of disobeying Putin's calls for hopen'change for the benefit of the Russian people.

Disclaimer: Any resemblance with Barak Obama and the GM / Chrysler Corp. forced nationalization scandal is more or less coincidental.

English captioning of the TV commentary continues below the video player.

Commentator: "Everything happened in a small Russian town, where all factories closed their gates and thousands of fired employees took to the streets.
But all of a sudden Putin the Savior came to town. He visited the closed factories, he talked to the people and then he called the owner to order: businessman Oleg Deripaska.

Putin: "Why is this factory in such poor shape? It looks like a garbage dump"

Commentator: "After being briefed, the Russian Prime Minister called the factory managers to a meeting. All of them showed up looking like mourners to a funeral: dressed in black, with their heads down"

Putin: "Why did you run like cockroaches when you learned I'm coming here to see you? Why is none of you capable of making decisions?

Commentator: "Putin came to the meeting with a pre-written contract to save the day. All that was needed was only the signature of the owner, Oleg Deripaska".

Putin: "I don't see your signature. Come here and sign"

Commentator: "Red faced like a schoolboy caught cheating, the owner signed the document without even reading it first. The camera catches the disgusted look on Putin's face as well as his final words meant to humiliate the businessman.

Putin: "Don't forget to give me back my pen"

Commentator: These images are confirming the gereral opinion the nouveau rich of Russia are scared to death of the Government in general and of Putin in particular. And they better be: the former owner of the group of companies Yukos, billionaire Michail Hodorkovsky who was sent to prison because he angered Putin it is still vivid in their memories.

The Big Dog And The Mongrel

There is a fable written by an 19th Century Romanian poet that rings today truer than ever. Translation is mine and it's done fast so I apologize for any mistakes:

The big dog and the mongrel

-"How do I hate some big animals,
Like wolves, bears, lions and some other,
Who are so full of themselves!
They think they are better than anybody else
But their noble ancestry is only a game of chance
And I can be noble too, but I am not a show off.
People often say that in the civilized countries
All creatures are equal;
All over the world social equality is embraced,
Only us, we are stuck with our foolish pride.
As for me, everybody knows
That of all the beasts, and even the smallest, dumbest ones,
They are addressing me by my name: dog, and not "Sir".

This is how Samson, the big dog was speaking very loudly
To his friend old friend the bull, one lazy afternoon.

One little skinny stray pup named Samurache, who listened to the conversation
Hearing their words, and believing they are not vane and pretentious
Suddenly approaches to show his appreciation:

-"Your thinking is great" he said- "And I am of the same opinion, my brothers"

-"We, your brothers? Samson replied, full of anger.
"We, your brothers, you mongrel?
I will give you a good thrashing
You'll remember it for the rest of your life!.
Do you know who we are, you shameless mutt?"

- "I was trying to say..."the little dog cries

- "What do I care what you want to say or understood?", Samson barks
"This is what I meant: I hate vanity and pride, and I hate the lions
I'm all for equality between animals, but not for mutts like you"

This is often what we see among some people,
Who want equality, but only with the ones more powerful and wealthier.

--Grigore Alexandrescu 1810-1885

The More Things "Change!", The More They Stay The Same...

IOwnTheWorld is bringing us another example of how the libs in the nationalized media are shamelessly swooning and slobbering over Obama. This time, the ObaMessiah is portrayed as one of the best Presidential golf players:

It’s a Cinderella Story…

Finally, I blog about something that is truly near and dear to my heart. People who know me know that “me likes my golf.” There was a time when I played at least 5 times a week, and I was a 4 handicap. So, when the press tells me that Obama is a good golfer I need to take a look for myself. These are the same people who tell me that Michelle is one of the 100 hottest women on the planet. By that standard, Obama should be ranked around 67th on the PGA tour, no?

Believe it or not, after seeing the clip of Obama at the driving range, Michelle is closer to hot than Obama is to being a golfer. I don’t want to bore the bulk of the readers with Inside Golf “tech talk,” but the quick rundown on what I saw wrong with his swing (when I saw a static photo in the newspaper) was : a- his stance is too open (not in itself bad, but the rest of the set up doesn’t work with an open stance) b- his club is wide open at the top and laid off (with an open stance this is death) c- he has a chicken wing (he doesn’t keep his left bicep close to his rib cage) d - he doesn’t keep his right arm nearly straight enough.

Without seeing the full swing I would expect to see shots either pulled or sliced. The clip of the full swing was much worse than I expected. All bias aside, this is the swing of a first year golf student. Yet, the media had him ranked ahead of George W. Bush. Oh, what a surprise. What else would you expect from a media that says JFK was the greatest American President golfer? From the looks of these photos, I beg to differ:

I like Ike. Ford was a great athlete, and Bill Clinton looks real good here but the word on him was that he cheated. He took free shots, known as Billigans, and took lots of “gimmes.” They say that golf reveals the man, hard to argue with that. Here’s the great Obama, you decide:

Clearly, unlike the slobbering media is trying to paint him, Obama is no Tiger Woods. More likely he is Tiger Sucks. This reminds me of Ceausescu's hunting: the dictator used to have wild pigs or bears driven in a very long and narrow passage in front of him and shoot them with his $150,000 custom engraved Holland & Holland double rifle from 20-30 yards away - practically execution style. Not one or two, not even 20 or 30 pigs in a so called "hunt"; in a single day he was slaughtering between 200 and 300 animals.

Propaganda painting:

Partial view of his trophy display after a day of hunting:

If he was accompanied by a foreign chief of state they were killing close to 1,000 pigs, bears or deer in a weekend between the two of them. Hard to believe but that's the truth. I remember Ceausescu was inviting many of his fellow communist dictators from all over Eastern Europe as well as Banana Republic presidents from Africa and good old chaps from the Middle East like Ghadaffi, Arafat and Saddam to take part in his hunting "adventures".This is why to this day the Romanian people still have a repulsive reaction when they hear about hunters and hunting in general.
The next day after the hunt the comrades from the official Party press were reporting in the newspapers and TV that "the most beloved son of the nation was the most skilled hunter in the world".
Truth is Ceausescu was a great hunter just as Obama is a great golf player. These idiots in the American media must be graduates form the the Communist Party Propaganda Academy.
The libs in the media of today are ass kissing Obama in exactly the same manner the official communist Party media was ass kissing the former dictators of Eastern Europe.
And one more thing the liberal media, Obama and Ceausescu have in common: a deep distrust and fear of armed citizens. But more about that, in a future posting

The Former Chief Of Communist Romanian Espionage On The Nationalization Of GM

Nicolae Ceausescu's former chief of espionage and car czar of communist Romania Lt. Gen. Ioan Mihai Pacepa tells us from his own experience why Government Motors is a really bad idea.

What I Learned as a Car Czar
History shows government and automobile manufacturing don't mix.

By ION MIHAI PACEPA

They say history repeats itself. If you are like me and have lived two lives, you have a good chance of seeing the re-enactment with your own eyes. The current takeover of General Motors by the U.S. government and United Auto Workers makes me think back to Romania's catastrophic mismanagement of the car factories it built jointly with the French companies Renault and Citroen. I was Romania's car czar.

When the Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu decided in the mid-1960s that he wanted to have a car industry, he chose me to start the project rolling. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. I knew nothing about manufacturing cars, but neither did anyone else among Ceausescu's top men. However, my father had spent most of his life running the service department of the General Motors affiliate in Bucharest.

My job at the time was as head of the Romanian industrial espionage program. Ceausescu tasked me to mediate the purchase of a minimum, basic license for a small car from a major Western manufacturer, and then to steal everything else needed to produce the car.

Three Western companies competed for the honor. Ceausescu decided on Renault, because it was owned by the French government (all Soviet bloc rulers distrusted private companies). We ended up with a license for an antiquated and about-to-be-discontinued Renault-12 car, because it was the cheapest. "Good enough for the idiots," Ceausescu decided, showing what he thought of the Romanian people. He baptized the car Dacia, to commemorate Romania's 2,000-year history going back to Dacia Felix, as the ancient Romans called that part of the world. In that government-run economy, symbolism was the most important consideration, especially when it came to things in short supply (such as food).

"Too luxurious for the idiots," Ceausescu decreed when he saw the first Dacia car made in Romania. Immediately, the radio, right side mirror and backseat heating were dropped. Other "unnecessary luxuries" were soon eliminated by the bureaucrats and their workers' union that were running the factory. The car that finally hit the market was a stripped-down version of the old, stripped-down Renault 12. "Perfect for the idiots," Ceausescu approved. Indeed, the Romanian people, who had never before had any car, came to cherish the Dacia.

For the Western market, however, the Dacia was a nightmare. To the best of my knowledge, no Dacia car was ever sold in the U.S.

Ceausescu, undaunted, was determined to see Romanian cars running around in every country in the world. He tasked me to buy another Western license, this time to produce a car tailored for export. Oltcit was the name of the new car -- an amalgam made from the words Oltenia, Ceausescu's native province, and the French car maker Citroen, which owned 49% of the shares. Oltcit was projected to produce between 90,000 and 150,000 compact cars designed by Citroen.

Ceausescu micromanaged Oltcit, but he didn't even know how to drive a car, much less run a car industry. To save the foreign currency he coveted, he decreed that the components for the Oltcit were to be manufactured at 166 existing Romanian factories. Coordinating 166 plants to have them deliver all the parts on time would be a monumental job even for an experienced car producer. It proved impossible for the Romanian bureaucracy, which pretended to work and was paid accordingly. The Oltcit factory could produce only 1% to 1.5% of its intended capacity owing to the lack of the parts that those 166 companies were supposed to furnish simultaneously. The Oltcit project lost billions.

Ceausescu was an extreme case, but automobile manufacturing and government were never a good mix in any socialist/communist country. In the late 1950s, when I headed Romania's foreign intelligence station in West Germany, I worked closely with the foreign branch of the East German Stasi. Its chief, Markus Wolf, rewarded me with a Trabant car -- the pride of East Germany -- when I left to return to Romania.

That ugly little car became famous in 1989 when thousands of East Germans used it to cross to the West. The Trabant originally derived from a well regarded West German car (the DKW) made by Audi, which today produces some of the most prestigious cars in the world. In the hands of the East German government, the unfortunate DKW became a farce of a car. The bureaucrats and the union that ran the Trabant factory made the car smaller and boxier, to give it a more proletarian look. To reduce production costs, they cut down on the size of the original, already small DKW engine, and they replaced the metal body with one made of plastic-covered cardboard. What rolled off the assembly line was a kind of horseless carriage that roared like a lawn mower and polluted the air worse than a whole city block full of big Western cars.

After German reunification, the plucky little "Trabi" that East Germans used to wait 10 years to buy became an embarrassment, and its production was stopped. Germany's junkyards are now piled high with Trabants, which cannot be recycled because burning their plastic-covered cardboard bodies would release poisonous dioxins. German scientists are now trying to develop a bacterium to devour the cardboard-and-plastic body.

Automobile manufacturing and government do not mix in capitalist countries either. In the spring of 1978 Ceausescu appointed me chief of his Presidential House, a new position supposed to be similar to that of the White House chief of staff. To go with it he gave me a big Jaguar car. That Jaguar, which at the time had been produced in a government-run British factory, was so bad that it spent more time in the garage being repaired than it did on the road.

"Apart from some Russian factories in Gorky, Jaguars were the worst," Ford executive Bill Hayden stated when Ford bought the nationalized British car maker in 1988. How did the famous Jaguar, one of the most prestigious cars in the world, become a joke?

In 1945, the British voters, tired of four years of war, kicked out Winston Churchill and elected a leftist parliament led by Labour's Clement Attlee. Attlee nationalized the automobile, trucking and coal industries, as well as communication facilities, civil aviation, electricity and steel. Britain was already saddled by crushing war debts. Now it was sapped of economic vigor. The old empire quickly passed into history. It would take decades until Margaret Thatcher's privatization reforms restored Britain's place among the world's top-tier economies.

The United States is far more powerful than Great Britain was then, and no American Attlee should be capable of destroying its solid economic and political base. I hope that the U.S. administration, Congress and the American voters will take a closer look at history and prevent our automotive industry from following down the Dacia, Oltcit or Jaguar path.

Source: More Targets Found on Arkansas Shooting Suspect's Computer

Wednesday, June 03, 2009

A senior U.S. official tells FOX News that more targets were found on the computer of a man charged in the fatal shooting at a military recruiting center in Arkansas — suggesting the accused gunman may have been part of a larger plot to attack military targets and may not have been acting alone.

Officers found maps to Jewish organizations, a Baptist church, a child care center, a post office and military recruiting centers in the southeastern U.S., New York and Philadelphia, according to a joint FBI-Homeland Security intelligence assessment obtained by The Associated Press.

After Monday's attack outside the Army-Navy Career Center in Little Rock, detectives searched a computer linked to suspect Abdulhakim Muhammad, and discovered research into multiple sites in different states, according to the memo.

Muhammad, 23, a Muslim convert who previously was known as Carlos Bledsoe, pleaded not guilty to capital murder in the deadly suburban shopping complex shooting.

Authorities said he targeted soldiers "because of what they had done to Muslims in the past."

Private William Long, 23, was killed and Private Quinton I. Ezeagwula, 18, was wounded. Both completed basic training within the past two weeks and had never seen combat. Ezeagwula was in stable condition at a hospital.

The latest information seemed to contradict a local police official's denial earlier Tuesday that the shooting was part of a larger conspiracy, though details of possible accomplices and their involvement weren't immediately disclosed.

Muhammad is being held without bond and is due to make his first court appearance Wednesday.

Muhammad, a U.S. citizen, is accused of carrying out a targeted attack against U.S. forces because of "political and religious motives" and already had been under investigation by the FBI at the time of the shootings.

An FBI joint terrorism task force based in the southern U.S. reportedly had been tracking Muhammad after he traveled to Yemen and was arrested and jailed there for using a Somali passport, an official told The Associated Press. The probe had been in its early stages and based on Muhammad's trip to Yemen, ABC News reported.

While there, Muhammad, who was born and raised in Tennessee, studied jihad with an Islamic scholar, according to Jihadwatch.org. He moved to Little Rock in April.

At Tuesday's court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Scott Duncan said Muhammad told investigators that "he would have killed more soldiers had they been in the parking lot."

Long and Ezeagwula were targeted as they stood outside the recruiting center smoking cigarettes.

Collector puzzled over seizure of his vintage war plane by customs agents

Skyraider believed to be 1 of 4 left in U.S.

by Anita Debro -- Birmingham News
June 03, 2009

A vintage airplane collector said Tuesday that government agents have impounded his rare 1952 military aircraft he imported from France last fall and are threatening to destroy the plane because of a missed step in bringing it into the country.

Claude Hendrickson III said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents seized his Douglas AD-4N Skyraider about six weeks ago at the Bessemer Municipal Airport hangar he leases.

"(ICE) basically said we smuggled the plane into the country. My question is how do you smuggle this into the country," Hendrickson asked pointing to the single-engine aircraft that was commonly used as an attack bomber during the Vietnam War.

Hendrickson's Skyraider is believed to be one of only four of its kind that remain in the U.S.

The airplane, which Hendrickson bought for $100,000 last May, since its seizure has been moved to another hangar at the Bessemer Airport.

Hendrickson said he is not allowed to fly the plane or perform any work on it until ICE agents release it.

ICE spokesman Temple Black on Tuesday declined comment on the case and forwarded questions to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Birmingham.

Officials in the U.S. Attorney's Office declined specifics on the matter, but said "ICE continues to investigate the case."

Hendrickson said he was not trying to bring the plane into the country illegally. He said he believed he followed all steps to import the plane.

The 48-year-old businessman hired attorneys Joe Lassiter and Anthony Johnson.

Hendrickson said his attorneys on Tuesday met with lawyers in the U.S. Attorneys in Birmingham regarding the plane.

Hendrickson said he has been advised that ICE had 60 days to file any criminal charges against him. He said the plane has already been impounded for about 45 days.

MISSED PAPERWORK:

Hendrickson, who lives in Shelby County, said he was in Texas on business when federal agents seized the plane at the Bessemer Airport in May.

He flew into the airport as soon as he heard about the seizure and briefly met with ICE agents.

Hendrickson said ICE agents told him then that he had failed to fill out a form required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives when he imported the plane into the states from France.

Hendrickson said he was unaware he had to register the plane with ATF since he removed the aircraft's artillery while it was still in France.

Hendrickson did register the plane with the FAA.

The FAA issued a certificate of registration on the airplane in September 2008, according to the agency's Web site. The registered owner of the aircraft, according to the FAA, is Dixie Equipment LLC, the business Hendrickson owns.

IN HONOR OF FATHER:

Hendrickson's father, Claude F. Hendrickson Jr., is a retired captain in the Navy. The elder Hendrickson flew planes like a Skyraider during his service.

It was his father's service as a Naval pilot that sparked the younger Hendrickson's fascination with airplanes. The younger Hendrickson owns several vintage military aircraft that he houses in Bessemer including the exact SNJ-4 warbird his father flew during his time in the military.

He and his father made the trip to France last year for the Skyraider. After inspecting the aircraft, the two men hired a pilot to fly a 15-day trip to get the plane from Europe to Buffalo, N.Y.

The Hendricksons planned to enter the plane in air shows across the country. Hendrickson already flies several of his military planes in air shows.

The younger Hendrickson said once the Skyraider had made a successful run in air shows, he planned to donate the aircraft in his father's honor.

"Ultimately, my intentions from the beginning have been to fly this plane for five to 10 years in air shows and then donate it to the Southern Museum of Flight in my father's name."

Now, Hendrickson worries that the government will destroy the vintage aircraft.

"I just don't get it," Hendrickson said. "This is a part of American history. It is of no danger to the government."

Quote Of The Day: Political Correctness

Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
