The Secret Animal Rights Agenda Of America’s Next Regulatory Czar

Soy-latte sipping radical activists are now running America. Teddy Roosevelt is spinning in his grave.

“[A]nimals should be permitted to bring suit, with human beings as their representatives, to prevent violations of current law … Any animals that are entitled to bring suit would be represented by (human) counsel, who would owe guardian like obligations and make decisions, subject to those obligations, on their clients’ behalf.”

“We ought to ban hunting, I suggest, if there isn’t a purpose other than sport and fun. That should be against the law. It’s time now.” --
Cass Sunstein, Barack Obama’s pick for “regulatory czar,”

Will the next four years be a dream-come-true for anti-meat, anti-hunting, and anti-everything-else radicals? Time will tell. For now, meat lovers might want to stock their freezers.

  1. I think Cass Sunstein is a wonderful choice to represent the "New Change that is Coming to America". Yes, there are some that are afraid of change and will go kicking, screaming and fighting all the way, same as those darn slave owners but in the end the slaves, the tortured and beaten will win. Only the truly enlightened will be able to understand why this change is so necessary for america but until then we will have to put up with the angry, egotistical, anti-animal rights conservatives who want to own and control every living breathing animal in the world.

  2. amberlopez,

    Do trees cry if sometimes you forget to hug them?

  4. amberlopez,

    Yes, and my name is Mr. Grey.
    Now it's your turn to answer to my question: do you feel guilty when you forget to hug a tree?

  5. I hope this appointee will finally do something about all of the animal abuse that goes on in this world. I totally support abolishing puppymills, the torturing and skinning alive of animals for fur and keeping animals in abusive conditions in the factory farms. The title is a bit misleading though. There is NO big "SECRET" here or "HIDDEN AGENDA". His books and published papers are well known and readily available to all. Even in the article you link to it clearly states his intentions:

    Sunstein has made no secret of his devotion to the cause of establishing legal “rights” for livestock, wildlife, and pets. “[T]here should be extensive regulation of the use of animals in entertainment, scientific experiments, and agriculture,” Sunstein wrote in a 2002 working paper while at the University of Chicago Law school.

    Considering the fear factor you injected into this article I think it is pretty clear this is written by a radical conservative fronting for the Center for Consumer Freedom which is just another terrorist group run by very dark forces who are trying to divide this country and keep us from moving into the light .

  6. john15,

    I am a conservationist and a hunter. The money I spend gearing up for my hobby are taxed; those taxes plus all the cost of the hunting licenses, stamps, tags and various fees the State of California charges me are spent for wildlife habitat improvement and natural conservation projects. In fact, you may be surprised to learn that the State of California doesn't spend a single penny of your own money or the money of big libs like Cass Sunstein for conservation and wildlife habitat improvement. That also applies to the PETA moonbats who Cass Sustein represents and who by the way have tens of millions of dollars at their disposal but preffer to kill over 95% of the animals they "rescue"
    But getting back to the issue...100% of the necessary funds for all of the conservation and habitat improvement projects are coming from people like me who go outdoors and kill Bambi. If you go in the forest and say hello to a deer, if the mountain lion and bears populations are healthier than ever or if you see a flock of wild goose flying over your head, it's because of people like me put their money an time to make that possible, not because of liberal Obamaton whiners like you.
    I also put countless hours in the animal rescue organization that me, my wife and another 3 people are running in Southern California.
    How about you, whiny lib?
    How much money and time did you actually spent for cleaning up Mother Gaia and improving the natural habitat of its living wild creatures? When was the last time you picked up a stray dog or cat from a high kill shelter and tried to find a forever home for him?
    You libs are all talk and good intentions but in reality you are loud mouthed cheap and lazy bastards.

  7. Hearing you will hear and shall not understand,
    And seeing you will see and not perceive;
    For the hearts of these people have grown cold.
    Their ears are hard of hearing,
    And their eyes have become blind,
    Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
    Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
    So that I should heal them.

    But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;
    Most assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous
    men desired to see what you see, and did not see it,
    To hear what you hear, but can not hear it.........
    one day the animals will speak about the cruelty of the humans and watch out for you will be their target.......

  8. Cass Sunstein will be a breath of fresh air from a very dark administration that created more divisiveness and was perhaps one of the most dangerous administrations we've ever had. Cass Sunstein will bring us out of the dark ages and help those that are afraid to move forward with his gentle demeanor and sharp legal mind.

  9. Douglas and kathryn,
    Cass Sunstein is a barking moonbat (just like you are) and I hope you both will get sued by your cats for the stress you are causing when you bathe them.
